ENTER NOW To Win a Peace Canoe At The Show

Submit an essay on "Why my family/group should be selected to
build and own this boat” to get your chance at being selected to win an 18-foot Peace Canoe that you will build together during the WoodenBoat Show. No woodworking skills are necessary & and there is no cost to participate except for the purchase of show admission tickets.

Any family configuration is invited to take part: grandparents, parents, siblings, children, grandchildren, cousins, or in-laws. Groups such as 4-H or Scout programs, maritime museums, boatbuilding companies, non-profit organizations, or other well-meaning associations are welcome. The Peace Canoe is an easy to build boat that will reward families and groups in two ways: to work together to build the boat and then later, to use it.

All the materials, tools and space required to build the boats will be provided at the WoodenBoat Show. The participating groups will receive complete plans and directions for the simple construction. Industry experts will oversee the entire process throughout the weekend. An official launch party will be conducted at the show on Sunday afternoon and the groups then get to take home their new craft.
